Teisha is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC #CCMH153601 New Mexico). Her specialty is anxiety and trauma; however, she works with all individuals to learn emotional coping skills while promoting positive self-esteem, self-image, and self-confidence. In addition, she strives to lead each individual through exercises to assist in goal creation and execution to realize the quality of life he or she has desired. Her primary modality is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which has a wide variety of secondary modalities (REBT, DBT, etc.) of which can be very useful in the modification of behavior.  

 

Additionally, she is an expert in performing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to separate emotional triggers from traumatic memories. Typically, she works with adults; however, she will work with teenagers depending on maturity level and circumstances.

Teisha is also a certified Usui Reiki Master/teacher, performs chakra balancing, aura extension and cleansing, and is an essential oil and external body detox consultant.
